(a) Electromagnetic analysis of Fibrinolysis
Magnetic therapies for diseases like deep vein thrombosis can be developed if we can understand the behavior of magnetic particle inclusions in blood clots. This project demonstrates that we can induced blood clot lysis through application of electromagnetic radiation. Through COMSOL simulations we show that using solenoid coils we can induce considerable plastic deformation in blood clots
